So, what I’m going to do is start a weekly weigh in on my blog. I need all the motivation I can get, that always helps! But I also need to be accountable. If I know you all are going to be checking my site on a weekly basis, and I have to tell you how much weight I’ve lost and how I’m doing with getting fit, then I'm going to make sure I see some results. I don’t want to have to get on here and make excuses for gaining, or not sticking to it.
My weigh in day will be every Wednesday. Below is a before picture (I’m sure you remember me talking about the difficulty I have taking a picture of myself in the bathroom mirror…I never know where I’m supposed to look: see post titled “Today is” and you’ll see what I’m talking about), and hopefully by the end of 5 months, or actually before the end, I will be 30-40 lbs. lighter. Why don’t we just settle on a 35 lb. weight loss?! Right in the middle. Sounds good to me! While I’m not comfortable yet with telling you my actual weight, I’ll just be telling you how much I’ve lost, what I ate during the week, and any activity I did to help shed the excess lbs (honestly, it’s not like you couldn’t guess it. I’ve lost 52 so far, and want to lose 35 more…that’s a lot!).
I’m excited about this! It gives me something to look forward to, and knowing that you’re going to be reading this and encouraging me to lose it and get fit just makes it that much better! If you’ve read Josh’s blog, you know he’s lost 60 lbs. so far, and lots and lots of inches. Well, he can not look better than me when he gets home ;o) That’s just unacceptable! We’ve already made a pact to stay fit and work out together when he gets home, and let’s go ahead and admit it, I’ll be the one that says that now, but will I really do it?! I have the best of intentions though, I really do! We’ll just cross that bridge when we get there.
Well, I’m off to begin day one! Yea!! As of this moment, I haven’t lost any weight…that’s my weigh in for this week. Maybe I’ll spill my weight later, but for now, just trust that I will tell me truth and not fudge anything. If I lose weight in a particular week, great! If I don’t, I’ll tell you.

Here's the pic...and literally, I took 27 pics and this was the best I could come up with! Sad sad sad. Oh, and I know in your before picture, you're supposed to be all hunched over, look really sick and pale, without a smile on your face, but it's extremely difficult for me not to smile unless I really don't want to. I'll just look super excited in my after pic!
And here is the dreaded S-C-A-L-E...It could be my best friend, or just as easily, my worst nightmare. The choice, is mine...

You an me both. I am exercising at work and have to be accountable to someone and just since last week I've lost 4. I want to lose 30 by November. We can be each other's encouragers. :)
You are definitely an encouragement to me! I am jumping on that bandwagon, too! I HAVE GOT to do something! I will keep reading, so you can give me helpful hints and advice. Good luck! You will do great! You are motivating me. :)
