Still Stoked...

about my blog! I've asked everyone I know today if they've checked it out. haha...I love it! I know it will probably sound silly, but to me it's like I have a new wardrobe. My blog is a part of me and now it's new and improved! Blogging gives people a glimpse into your life, and you can show people as much or as little as you'd like. I may show too much sometimes, but hey, that may be what keeps people coming back! As long as people are reading it, it may as well look nice, right?! Thanks again, Teale!


Anyway, it is 1:24 a.m. and I'm taking a break from cleaning. I've put it off all week, and I'm only doing it now because I have to. I have spend the night company coming over tomorrow night, so I'm trying to make it look decent. There of course will still be at least one room with the door close that is not meant to be opened! There always is for me no matter what. I've got to have that catch all room. One of these days I will get organized...so organized that you'll wonder, what happened to Amanda?! You know, the pack rat. This clean, organized woman has taken over! That's my hope at least. I seriously want that massive Martha Stewart do all book...I can't think of the name, but it's enormous! Maybe I could learn something from it. I know I've corrupted Josh. When we met, he was a clean, organized, preppy guy. Well, then I started saying, why don't you wear that t-shirt un-tucked, why don't you wait and clean tomorrow...it was all downhill from there. Usually in relationships, the woman is the clean, organized one, but not this one! I am a disorganized, don't plan anything, procrastinator! Big time! I guess in a way it's good that Josh is that way, and I'm this way. In a perfect world, I would have rubbed off on him just a little, and he on me. Instead, I think I rubbed off on him a lot, and him on me, none at all! I'm really working on it though. You would think by now I would know that procrastinating is a bad thing! Honestly, I would love nothing more than to be a domestic queen...just like June Cleaver, or Martha Stewart - minus the going to prison part. My goal, as if I don't have enough that I will more than likely never accomplish (I know, the Debbie Downer in me is showing), is to become more organized, punctual, and to do things ahead of time rather than waiting to the last minute. I would love to be able to purchase everything I need to get this place organized and in order. I so badly want to have Josh's "room" finished for him before he gets home, but right now, that's where all the boxes are that I've yet to unpack b/c I've yet to find a place to put everything. I'll give you an update on my progress. I'm sure Josh will be happy reading this blog, but I'm sure he'll do a good bit of laughing at the same time. I'll show him ;o)


Oh, and when you put someones name in your blog, how do you get it to connect to their blog?! I did it once, by accident though, and I haven't been able to figure out how again. Thanks for the help!
