Another year...

another birthday. Yes, today is my 27th birthday! How do I feel? The same as I did yesterday ;o) But seriously, I have to brag on my sweet hubby! He totally surprised me this year - actually for the first time ever! Let's start with the weekend first. When I got home Friday, I had a cookie cake waiting for me...yum! I love those things! Here's a pic...I thought it would last several days, but um, it's gone! Gone gone gone!!! It was delicious though :o)

And yes, those are halloween colors...Josh knows me best. I absolutely LOVE halloween and everything that goes with it! So Friday evening we went to Books a Million and then to Habeneros...yum again! After dinner we went to see "Quarantine". Now Josh is not a scary movie fan, at all, but for me, of course he would see one for me! I liked the movie a lot, mainly b/c it's the jump out and scare you kind. Be warned though, if you get any type of motion sickness, be prepared! There were several times that I had to look away b/c the camera moving was just making me sick. All in all we had a great time though.

So today, on my actual birthday. Josh called me a couple of times this morning and told me he was going out of county for work. Well, about 11:30, I wanted to run to CVS (see future post regarding my new obsession). I asked one of my coworkers when she was going to lunch, and she always says "anytime, you can go if you want to", but not today! She said that she was actually thinking about going right then. I was like, ok then, I'll heat up my soup b/c I was starving! Well she started talking to me and then a few minutes later, Josh walks around the corner! WHAT?! lol...Everyone knew but me. He called my supervisor last week to see if I could take a half day. His plan was to take me on a picnic, but b/c it looked like rain, he made a picnic in the living room! Isn't that sweet?! Oh, and he was off all morning to go get my present and the food. We had fried chicken with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes from KFC in the floor! I loved it! He did great with the gifts too...baking sheets (we had NONE!), The Family Stone (I love that movie!), and a new coupon organizer and notebook (see my obsession later!). Here are a couple of pics...

Thank you Josh, for making this a wonderful birthday! It's so good to have you with me this year! I love you with all my heart! :o)
