Give Blood!
I know this is a long shot, b/c I only know of a couple of people in the Columbiana area who read my blog, but we are sponsoring a blood drive at the Shelby County Board of Education tomorrow (Nov 7) from 10-3. And guess who's in charge...ME! I came up with the idea that we needed to have one b/c it's something so simple and costs nothing (except for the pint of blood). My grandfather got my brother and I to start giving as soon as we were old enough. In his lifetime, he has give over 18 gallons. I'm pretty far from that number! But anyway, if you are in the Columbiana area tomorrow and have the time, please stop by and donate. You'll get free snacks and a t-shirt!! I hope everyone is having a great day!!

This is a great thing to do! My mom had to have a huge blood transfusion during a tubal pregnancy that wasn't discovered till it was too late. She gives blood often now. You never now when you might need some and it's so easy to give it!! I'm positive your grandfather has saved many lives with his donations!!
