1. Be a better Christian. Study my bible more and spend more time in prayer. I often forget to turn to God when I need him, or even when I'm just thankful.
2. Be a better wife, sister, aunt, friend and co-worker (and everything in between).
3. Get fit and lose weight! I will admit, I did great last year. I was very proud of myself for losing 54 lbs, but I have now gained back errr...15 or so. Josh and I are enablers (sp?) for each other. That has to stop...we both have a goal of getting fit and healthy. My goal is now to lose another 40-50 lbs, and I know I can do it!
4. Get out of debt and save money! This is a biggie. I'm so tired of "worrying" about money and thinking about what needs to be paid and what we have to spend money on. I'm ready to have our emergency fund built (thanks Dave Ramsey...love him!), so that when something happens, we don't have to worry about how we're going to take care of it.
5. Get pregnant! Ok, I know that I can't actually control this, and I do pray for patience. I'm not sure if I've talked about this before, but Josh and I have been trying to conceive for a few years now. At my last doctors visit in October, I was told that we more than likely will need some help in this department. So goal number 4 plays in here...we have to save money to have a baby. How crazy does that sound?! It's true though. We're hoping that I get money back from taxes in 2009, so then we can make an appointment for February or March and see what needs to be done. Trust me, I know that it will happen (if it's supposed to happen) when God wants it to happen. My mind KNOWS that, but at the same time, my heart tells me to try anything and everything to make it happen. Sounds extremely contradictory, but I can't explain it any other way. We'll see what happens. Wish us luck!!
6. Occupy my mind with something OTHER than getting pregnant. For those of you who have been in this situation, or are currently in it, you know how hard it is to not think about having a baby 24/7. I find that my mind is cluttered with these thoughts, and that I can't do anything but feel down and depressed about it all. I have lots of hobbies that I would like to begin working on such as scrapbooking (if anyone is having a crop that is open to the public, please let me know...it's been so long since I've been to one and I love to get ideas from others!), I want to take a cake decorating class (which could be bad for my weight loss goal), and so many other things. Hopefully I can tackle one project at a time and actually go through with them and learn something new!
So while these are not in exact order of what I would like to accomplish, these are all very important to me. I hope to work on each of these things, and to not give up after a week or so, but to make them each a lifestyle change. I'll be sure to keep you all updated on my progress and I appreciate any and all support :o) I hope everyone has a wonderful 2009 and you are each able to accomplish your goals!!
Have a wonderful day/night/week :o)

Good luck on your resolutions. I know in time you will get pregnant. As you know I've been there and it took us 6 years. Lord willing it won't be that long for ya'll but if so, just know that it is way worth the wait. I would have loved it to been earlier so I could have another but I'm just thankful for the one I did get. I will be keeping ya'll in our prayers and I know you can get through this, just keep praying for it and I know I prayed for patience the whole time we were trying Good luck with the appointments when you get to that point and I'm hear for you if you ever want advise or just to vent or ask questions, love ya'll
