I just realized that my last post was number 100!! As a celebration, I'm going to give away $200 + worth of coupons and....A Coupon Organizer!! I know to some, this isn't thrilling, but if you're like me, this is absolutely wonderful! The real reason I'm doing this giveaway is, I am absolutely being taken over by coupons, and if I don't get them organized in the Couponator soon, I'll go crazy :o) So leave me a comment if you'd like to be entered. Awesome! I am so excited! The one thing we do to save money is that when we go out to eat at a restaurant we ALWAYS order water. You can save up to $5 just from not buying soda or tea. It's free to add lemon, even a little sweetener if you want... and voila! Lemonade! Another benefit is that you aren't drinking calories... so you can eat a few extra bites of that loaded cheese fry appetizer... LOL!

How cool! I haven't joined yet (I've got to get a few more weeks worth of coupons), but I'm going to be joining thegrocerygame.com - there's a bi-monthly fee, but they pretty much do all the leg work for you on your search for bargains.

I also try to only go to the store one day a week, take cash and only spend the cash I have...I try to use the debit card as little as possible...it really helps me pinch my pennies!

Sign me up!! I was doing the grocery game and was saving over $100 at a time! It was amazing! I am currently getting involved with e-mealz. They have recipes and an actual grocery list for you and if you clip coupons for the groceries it will allow you to prepare days before you even go to the grocery store! Plus, your meals for the week are already planned! Fast and simple!!

I'd love to win this coupon organizer! I was just telling my husband that I need something like this! Hmmmm....what are some ways that I save $?? Well....when I take the kids to McD's, I always order off the dollar menu and just get a water...so my meal is usually only $2! :) Not healthy, but....

Thanks for the chance. I just signed up on Vicky's Deals also. Couldn't figure this out but now I have. My one way of saving money is to always use cash. If I use cash then I am less likely to buy stuff that I don't really need.

I just saw your post on vickysdeals and would love a chance to try out this new organizer. I currently use a file box but have heard great things about these organizers. I am an avid coupon user and would say the biggest savings I have is always planning the family activities around coupons. We pretty much only do quick lunches out, dinners, movies or other activities with using a coupon. Lots of bogo free coupons out there and do add up to big savings. I also sign up for lots of freebies from companies. They really do add up.

We try to save money by making a list when we go to the store, and STICKING TO THAT list. It's TOO easy to wander away and grab this and that and before you know it, $100 additional is added to your total.

WOW!! Thank you so much for the chance. I really try to buy stockpiles of not just toothpaste and health care products but now that I am a SAHM I am always stocking up on food. Hi! I saw your giveaway on Vickysdeals. Vickysdeals is definitly my tool for saving the most money. I also match coupons with sales when I go grocery shopping. I always use a list grocery shopping and I don't buy anything not on the list. I have a stockpile of laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes...basically anything that doesn't expire. I got a lot of this stuff for free or nearly free!

I am commenting about your post! A special way that I save money is by making my own baby wipes. You use bounty papertowels and baby wash and baby oil. They are very easy. They work awesome and are so inexpensive. I am also adding you to my google reader.

Awesome giveaway!!! I'm going to run do a post about it right after this and I signed up as a follower =) One way I save money is looking for the weekly deals at the grocery stores (BOGO's are my fav) then I stack the coupons on top of them to try to get them as close to nothing as possible!!
Amanda, I'm so ready to learn how to save! That is one of mine and Michael's goals for 2009. We've already changed our budget and are strictly sticking to it! One way we save/get extra money is to pay for our gas on our discover card. We pay it off each month and get the cashback rewards that we put toward the next bill.
What a fun thing to do for your blog celebration!! I currently use a small divided organizer for my coupons. I frequently think of you and your couponator when I'm at the store :) I joined thegrocerygame.com about 10 weeks ago. It has been a fun experience learning how to buy brand for practically nothing! Also, I look for consignment sales & stores for the kids stuff.

This is fun! One way we save money is by having our tv and entertainment things (dvr, etc) on a surge protector which we turn off when we're not using them so it reduces electricity.

Found out about your Couponator on Vickys Deals and would love to win it. I use envelopes and could definitely use some help in wrangling those coupons!
I save money in lots of ways but the one I'm most proud of is going paperless... no more paper plates, paper towels or paper napkins. I've read recently that a lot of people are starting to do this... well, I've been doing it for over 6 years. I love the "luxury" feel of cloth napkins and find that using cloth towels to wipe up spills and clean with is just as easy (and so much more enviromentally sound) as paper towels.
YAY! We (like teale) also drink water when we go out to a restaurant.... (unless we get BarBQ lol) also, if we really want an appetizer we will share the appetizer and the regular dinner).... and i am about to blog about your giveaway.... and I became a follower! So much of our money was being spent on going out to eat, so cutting back in that area has really helped us save money. We're currently going through Financial Peace University (www.daveramsey.com) so we're in the process of paying off all of our debts except for our house, which we will hopefully complete by the end of this year.

Great giveaway! We save money by always shopping at a grocery store that doubles our coupons. The store uses a member card, which racks up points... for every $50 you spend you get 10cents off a gallon of gas at sunoco stations. So, I save on groceries and gas. I also always trade any coupons I can't use with my co-workers and friends so we call get more coupons we can use. I am going to blog about your giveaway at smith-country (my family's blog). Great giveaway! I found your blog through my friend Stacia's blog. One way I save money at Kroger is by loading ecoupons onto my Kroger plus card through sites like shorcuts.com and cellfire.com, and then stacking those with sales and paper coupons.
Jenny sent me the note about this :) I do NOT save money as I should. Let's see, I save money by not carrying our ATM card NOR the charge card. Now if I could just do without the checkbook :) it's a start, though, right?!
