Before getting to the new poll, we'll go over the results from the previous one. I really liked the topic, How often do you go out or grab fast food to eat?? Twelve said that they go out once a week or more and 3 said once a month or more. No one voted that they go out only for special occasions or that they don't go out at all. I have to admit, I was a little surprised with the results! As you know, Josh and I have really been trying to eat at home, and I'm not trying to toot our own horns (ok, maybe I am ;o), but the only time we have NOT made something at the house was last Friday for our anniversary, and lunch on Saturday! Now I realize that I'm only talking about the last 2 and a half weeks, but that's huge for us!! I can really tell that we are saving money, and having meals that are already prepared and just have to be heated has been WONDERFUL!! I'm sure you will see more posts about this topic in the future.

Now for this weeks poll...How much time do you spend on the internet/computer?? Well, considering that Josh says I'm OBSESSED and need help (love you babe!), then I guess I get on a lot! Ok, I KNOW that I get on a lot! Maybe I am addicted...maybe I need professional help with this problem, who knows?! The internet definitely helps to smooth over an awkward situation, helps us keep up with others(ie. blogs, facebook, etc), helps us reconnect with people we never see or haven't heard from in years. But there is also a downside - we can lose that personal connection. I'll be the first to admit, if I can just shoot someone an email or comment on their facebook page, then I may not ever see them in person or pick up the phone and just call them. That's something that I definitely need to work on! I'm sure there are several of us who would like to do the same.

If one of your options was "every hour" I could have chosen that! OK, not every day... but when the laptop is right there, your child is napping and you need something to do... hello internet! Chad says I'm obsessed also. I am constantly checking my email. I think I got into that habit from being at work and having my email inbox open all day long. I also hate that you lose personal connection over the internet. But then again, I love staying connected with people I wouldn't be able to otherwise. I think I talk to you more over the internet than I do with people that live nearby and I see on a regular basis. :)
