Our 5th Anniversary!

Last Friday, April 17, was our 5th wedding anniversary! First, thanks to everyone that left a comment on Josh's blog wishing us a happy anniversary, as well as on both of our facebook pages - we sincerely appreciate it :o) So if you read Josh's blog, then you know that he had a surprise for me...



Isn't it pretty?? I absolutely LOVE it, and refuse to take it off! Thank you, Josh...thank you for making every day so special...xoxo :o)

So for our anniversary, we decided to head to Huntsville. We are definitely planning another trip there in the future, b/c there is actually a lot to do there. For this trip, we stopped first at the visitor's center (FYI-if you go to Huntsville to see any of the attractions, stop there first b/c they will give you discount coupons for EVERYTHING!), then we stopped at a diner for lunch. After that, it was off to the Space and Rocket Center for us. We went to P.F. Chang's for Dinner (we lucked out that they had one and that we had the gift card from my father-in-law, so it was FREE!).


This was all that was left from our Lettuce Wraps...one little fried noodle - we LOVE those!

We got home around 10:00 (we were stopped in traffic on the way there AND on the way back). Saturday, we went to see Monster's vs. Aliens in 3D...it was too cute! Then we went to the Japanese restaurant in Alabaster for some sushi (YUM!), and then came home. We had a great time in the car, talking and singing at the top of our lungs...

Oh, I was really excited, b/c the last time we went to the Space & Rocket center, they had "Darth Vader" in a case, and THIS time, they also had him there, only in a different location. Check out the difference in Josh in just 2 years...

All in all, we had a wonderful weekend together! We still have one more day off from work, which will be a day to just recover and get ready for the new week. My father-in-law is coming over for dinner Tuesday night, which I know Josh is looking forward to spending some time with his dad! Their relationship has really blossomed over the last 2 years, and I'm so happy about that!!
