Last weekend...

Josh and I went to Prattville to meet my mom, brother, sil and nephews for dinner at The Catfish House. Wait, before we talk about that, let's back track...On our way down to Millbrook, we made a quick stop at one of our favorite places...The Peach Park in Clanton! Here's my homemade Butter Pecan Ice Cream in a waffle cone...



Yes, we had dessert before dinner, but who cares, it was soo yummy!! Josh got banana ice cream and said it was the best ice cream he's ever had! It was pretty tasty :o)

So on to meeting the family for dinner. First of all, the Catfish House is a must if you've never tried it. I always have and always will get the same thing when I go...Popcorn Shrimp! It is soo delicious and they give you a pile of it. I think what I really like though is their cocktail sauce...it's got to be their own special recipe b/c I can not find it in the store like that. If you're ever in the Prattville/Millbrook area, you have to go there. It's right off the interstate just over the Millbrook line. Here are a couple of pictures of my sweet nephews inside...








After we had our fabulous meal, we headed to Pratt Park and let the boys (and us) play for a little while...

So that was our Saturday evening. Lot's of fun and lot's of lovin!! This weekend Josh and I have been and will continue tackling things at the house. Right now I'm waiting on my mom to get here and she and I are going to sew some stuff. Pictures to follow at the end of the weekend. I hope everyone's having a great one!!
