What are you doing for Valentine's Day?

As a rule, Josh and I don't celebrate "Valentine's Day"...instead, we celebrate the day after. Why?? Well because that's the day that Josh proposed to me :) It's our "engagement anniversary"...I can hear the "Awwww's" now! Well, we're trying to decide what to do, where to go. We want to try out a new place for dinner. We try our best to eat at home and only go out for special occasions or "just because" every once in a while. I do know that I might be getting a great gift that I've been wanting for quite some time...I'll post about it WHEN I get it...ha!

So what are your plans? Do you and your significant other celebrate this, although extremely commercialized, special day? I would love to read about your plans!

I hope everyone is enjoying this yucky day...I still have a headache (I'm pretty sure it's caffeine withdrawal), and I'm starved! Of course, I forgot my lunch at home, but I guess it won't hurt me to skip a meal every now and then ;)

We are going to the Melting Pot to celebrate! Have you guys tried Brio? It's yummy. I also suggest Yogurt Mountain. :) Can't wait to hear about your gift!

We don't usually do very much for Valentine's Day (he's always working on holidays) I think it's sweet that you celebrate the day after...less crowded too!!
p.s. keeping you and your family in my prayers. we are currently in the process of putting my dad's mom in a nursing home...

AWWW That is sweet! My husband asked me to marry him on Feb 12th - so we are going to celebrate on Friday. We need to get our act together because we haven't decided what we are doing yet either. We will probably go to the movies but where we will end up for dinner is a mystery. If you haven't ever been to La Dama in Liberty Park they have great food!

I'll be doing the same thing I have done the past few Valentine's Days.....NOTHING! And that is describing my past V-days when I have had a boyfriend....they have been nothing, lol!
