Wednesday Weight Update...

So in the spirit of keeping my blog updated more and needing all the encouragement I can get, I have decided to document my weight loss journey here!  I know that I've done post after post about my weight issues, but after turning 30 in October, not being a parent yet and obviously just waiting on life, I decided that I have to make changes. 


So here it is...I would like to lose 75-80 lbs.  Maybe once I begin losing, say to the point of a 25-30 lb loss, I'll tell you what my starting weight is.  As of right now, I'm just not THAT comfortable :)  It's not easy to lose weight.  I know this.  I've been on the journey many times before and only once did I actually accomplish my challenge.  You can read that post HERE.  I lost 52.4 lbs...that's (pardon the pun) HUGE!  I know I can do it, but I'm human, and I fail from time to time.  I give into cravings (I have had cravings since I was a little girl).  But the thing I have to remember is that when I fail, and I will, I can't beat myself up for it.  I have to pick up where I left off and keep moving forward.

Oh you know my love for a real Coca-Cola!  The crisp bite it has when it's icy cold...mmmm!  I'm going to miss you friend, but it's time to make a change.

So I hope you'll join me on my journey to health as well as a healthy weight.  Through the changes, exercise and hopefully positive habits I will acquire, I'll keep you updated every step of the "weigh".

My husband loves Coca Cola, he is Japanese and he is used to drinking it all the time, even in the morning. We Sicilians are shocked!
