A little silliness for your day...

So yesterday morning (Saturday), Josh and I decided to make pancakes. But not just any pancakes...MCDONALDS pancakes! I LOVE their pancakes...they are so light and fluffy and I can actually eat more than one opposed to homemade ones, which I can barely eat one b/c they seem a little more dense to me. Anyway, if you like their pancakes, then you probably know that they are made with Sprite. Well, I had a Tupperware party Friday night, and bought a few soft drinks, one being a bottle of Sprite. I was soo excited to make these, and I wanted to use a piece of my Tupperware (the Quick Shake container), b/c you can put everything in their and then shake it up, and use the pour spout to put it in the pan or on the griddle. So, I put all the ingredients in there, and then Josh and I were yah yahing over who was going to shake it up. Trust me, we don't "argue" over who is going to do this kind of stuff all the time...he is usually always the breakfast maker, but I really wanted to try this thing out. So everything is in there, including the Sprite, and I go to shaking it up! I stopped and looked, and noticed that I needed to shake it a little harder b/c all of the biscuit mix hadn't dissolved into the mixture, so I started shaking it up real good this time. All of the sudden, we hear a POP and the mix started flying! I couldn't stop laughing, and I didn't know WHY it had done that, then Josh said "THE SPRITE!" LOL!! It was everywhere!! What should have been enough to make 8 to 10 pancakes ended up making 5 or 6. For the rest of the morning, if I would rub my arm, I would have caked on pancake mix to take care of. It was so funny! Just a word of warning, don't shake this mixture in a container...mix it in a bowl if you're going to add a carbonated beverage :o)

Oh, and the pancakes were delicious, but I would add a little more sprite, and a little less biscuit mix to make them even more fluffy.
