I need a recipe...

To be specific, a chicken recipe! I currently don't have any meals frozen to cook, and we are down to the last of our chicken and beef. Since we need to go grocery shopping later this week, we're just going to cook out of our pantry for a few days. Here are a few of the main items I have on hand...

- Chicken
- Pasta
- Cream Soups
- Rice
- Canned Beans
- Canned Tomatoes
- Canned Corn
- Cheese

Any suggestions?? I don't want to make chicken and rice, and I don't want to make poppy seed chicken. I know you guys can help me out! All I need is the main dish - something new and exciting, and I'll handle the rest.

Leave me a comment with your wonderful recipe, and I'll let you know what we try and how it turned out.

THANKS!!

This is one of my favorites:

Chicken Swiss Stuffing
3 or 4 chicken breast
mozz or swiss cheese (shredded or sliced)
can of cream of chicken
herb flavored stuffing
1 stick melted butter

place the chicken in a pan, put cheese on top of chicken, pour cream of chicken soup on top of cheese with salt and pepper to taste, add stuffing on top of that. and pour melted butter on top of stuffing. bake on 350 for 1 hour. it's really good!

I cooked green beans and garlic- cheese biscuits with it.

Hope you like!

girl, I love your blog! I do not do the coupon thing but watched as Jenny and Brandon did before leaving our home Sunday afternoon to go do their grocery thing - and I thought of you. I read just now of using what you have to get by and thought of the many times I've done this over the years. Your garden! To save money, help the environment and eat healthy. I love coming to your page, Amanda!

I make something similar to Pizza huts chicken pasta. i cut my chicken into strips and saute them in a skillet. boil pasta. once the chicken is done cooking i put the chicken, pasta and some pasta sauce in a baking pan, cover with mozerrella and bake just long enough to melt the cheese.
