Rainy days and more stuff...

It is POURING outside right now, but I have to admit that I'm thankful for all the rain (on behalf of my garden)! It's been a while since I've blogged about the poor pitiful looking garden...I shouldn't say that though. I am still getting cherry tomatoes and I have LOTS AND LOTS of cantaloupe that should be ready to eat in the next couple of weeks. My beans didn't do very well though and my pepper plants only yielded a couple of peppers each. Oh well, I guess I did pretty good for a first timer :o)

So I made my first recipe from Grandmother's Recipe Box last night and I'm hoping that this weekly feature on my blog will keep you guys reading :o) Now I'm not sure if Teale was joking or not, but she said that my hair had a cute style and asked if I was wearing a bump-it! Really Teale?? ha...I had the WORST hair day yesterday, had my bangs clipped back and a messy ponytail in the back. I did get a good laugh though, so thanks...ha!

Now to the backside...I'm officially on painkillers! Very thankful for those little pills...I would never abuse them and would never take them for slight pain, so for me to be taking them, you know without a doubt that the pain is somewhat unbearable! Hopefully I will feel as good as new soon!

Josh and I had planned to have a yard sale tomorrow but I'm afraid it's going to be raining. We still have a room full of stuff to get rid of. We are trying our best to get our extra bedroom ready and by ready I mean have it looking like a REAL bedroom. If we are on the road to foster care/adoption, we've got to get to work! I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined all the things that have to be done/taken care of before you can even think about fostering/adopting a child. Wish us luck on all of the little projects we're going to try to accomplish this weekend!!

I guess that's it for now...can y'all believe that I've done like 5 or 6 posts this week?? Who am I???? It's been fun though! Expect another one later today...I'm participating in Kelly's Korner Show Us Your Life and this week is wedding party/flowers. How fun!!!
